What beer are you drinking now? #1705

Another beer leftover from my daughter's graduation party. A new session IPA from Long Trail.



4.75% abv and light bodied. It's got a decent nose and is surprisingly tasty. I'd say they did a great job hitting what they were aiming for. It's certainly worth it at 20 bucks for an 18 pack.

my bottled homebrew:


supposed to be a Pliny clone, i accidently brewed a 6 gallons worth of recipe into a 5 gallon amount. OOPS, the SG was high and the abv is high as is the color. still tastes good

Back home from the beach, so it's time to fire up the grill, but first I think I'll have a beer. This one I got from a coworker who was recently in VT. Very nice DIPA from the Alchemist!

Afternoon everyone I am currently drinking a Surf Wax.



I would like to share a great experience I had last night at Westbrook. The wife and I had been there about 30 minutes before a gentleman came by and asked if I had every tried Mexican Cake Reserva and I said no. He poured me some from the bottle and I was blown away, very kind of him to do that. I returned the favor by buying a bottle of the bourbon barrel aged Mexican Cake. The group with him and me joined forces to have almost every bottle on the vintage list including the Pappy Van Winkle BA version. The things people can accomplish when they join forces!!!

Enjoying the first day of summer with one of my staples...always have a few bottles hanging around. Upset that they changed the packaging format from 6-Packs to 4-Packs resulting in a higher price per ounce!

Still a great beer.
