    Manor Hill Sixfold DIPA.

Fruity up front (Tangerines mixed with Lime and Tropical mid Body with Mango and mild Pineapple acidity). Finishes rustic with a harsh Astringency that doesn't meld with the tropical vibe of the beer. Other than that, the beer would be fantastic.

[Sorry for failing to report yesterday; dropped my phone, and had to have it fixed so couldn't post on my brewery stops. Bummer. But went to Stoup Brewing and tried their Mosaic pale (very good), Citra ipa (very nice), and finished off with a strange-ish Vic Secret IPA (meh, too watermelon-y for me) before bumping BACK to Reuben's which is a few hundred feet away for another 3 way IPA collaboration beer. Hot today in Seattle. 90? Good grief. I came for 70 and drizzle. end of not-live commentary]
Have a great day and cheers!

Rog...I'll read your thoughts on this brew. This is the staple of oats used in a Belgian Tripel....I've been tasting too much American Beer nowadays, I need to go back to my Belgian Roots.

Happy Sunday BA's!! Been busy trying to get the townhouse up to snuff to put on the market and move on up to having a backyard and dog again. More cleaning and carpet shampooing today. These were from late last night after work while watching Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas. Überbrew's first canned beer and then the double red weighing in at 9.5% and was quite delicious. Been trying to drink more local lately. Cheers everyone!!!

Now that batch #3 is in the bottle, time to enjoy batch #2. This one was a small one gallon American wheat ale brewed with Constant Comment tea.

It's a good thing that, to paraphrase von Bismarck, God has a special providence for fools and drunks. In a story too long for here - I'll save it for the homebrew forum - I was quite sure that I not only royally screwed the pooch on this one, but set it on fire, scattered the ashes, and salted the earth below it. Turned out pretty refreshing and if I may say, decent.

Ah! That's a good point. This is mostly an American forum so per the membership and I'm glad you guys keep posting Murican brews that I've sipped on over the last year. It's inspiration. But some Belgian classic every now and then never hurt.
