20min from my house, typically swing by every Friday, weather was nice this week.

Trying to be a little wise, we split that DKML.** I think I got enough for a review, but will revisit it with the next bottle. Moving on, like @TheIPAHunter did with his beer life choices...

(This time I know it's not an optical illusion)

**gawd-dammit... the GF informs me after I bring her the can, "I can't drink this shit!" She was referring to her half of the DKML and claims to have tried, so I guess I get to finish off a few more oz of malt liquor.

I see @Premo88 has taken to the catch-up posts, kudos. That lazy Californian @Lingenbrau always tuckered out mid-post. Maybe the resh air at his new digs will revive him

Wrapping up my Michigan vacation week, have to make a day long stop near Detroit tomorrow before heading back to Old Dominion, so I need to get moving on a few beers for today, starting with this Right Brain Dead Kettle



Another solid yet underappreciated IPA, in my opinion. What is getting lost behind all the hazy IPAs are these technically accurate wonders that deliver that citrus and piney, resiny bitterness. No chance someone would utter the phrase "fluffy mouthfeel" around one of these Midwest IPAs.

Now for a tenderhearted tune with the word "dead" in it...
