    I liked this one yesterday and I'm liking it again today . . .

    Flavor is relatively mild with some depth. Sweet bready malt on entry. Not complicated but decidedly not simple with a malt forward approach that carries to the finish with sweet floral touches in the aftertaste.

    my first from Pearland's BAKFISH Brewing Co., a schwarzbier named "Deep Runner" ... drinking it at Cafeza in Houston

    So there's a brewery now in Pearland? And they brew a decent schwarz? Contrary to (some) published reports, this craft beer thing is doing mighty fine.:grinning:

    My last Transient Mind to Devour as I devour a chicken breast and poblano filled with dried chorizo and cheese. A little chopped ghost pepper sprinkled on for good measure. This beer should go quickly!


    Just a typical lazy Monday around here.....
