Picked up a couple Void 4pks. little after opening, but just finishing up my 1st Void now. A real treat to drink. Hearty, smooth, and a lovely mouthfeel. Very impressed, although not surprised. I let my can warm up a good 20 minutes before opening.

Side note: Latest batch of Space Coyote is drinking wonderful as well.

You nailed it. Matt crushes all these styles. Honestly, the fact that his IPAs/DIPAs aren't these dime a dozen NEIPA style clones is so great. Headway/Space Coyote/Spiral are my jam. Haven't had the chance to drink Wizard Fight yet but I hope I can soon.

Sipping on another Void enjoying the flavors and complexities got me looking forward to the time when CW releases an Imperial Stout.

Excellent news. I thought Inundation was fantastic.

Pretty insane lineup this weekend with 5 cans available and Tilquin Quetsche on site.

This thread needs a bump. I was lucky enough to have a couple of friends hook me up with a mixed four pack of pink label space coyote and denali.

I'm a sucker for galaxy and even I think that this idaho 7 variant is excellent. Very interesting hop for sure. Wasn't on my radar.

Denali seems solid. Although after space cake space coyote my palate is quite tainted for an apa.

Edit: I still think that void, mixed cassette, and workhorse are flying under the radar. Particularly void. If there is void available this friday I will be disappointed in CT beer drinkers. Happy that I'll get more but sad that it might not be brewed as often as it deserves.

Pink Label Space Coyote is ok, but I'm really enjoying the Denali pale ale. The two 4pks. I bought is far from enough. I love that hop, super fragrant and tasty.

I'm a little surprised as well that void is still avail. Definitely flying under the radar as far as Oatmeal Stouts go. Delicious.

To be perfectly honest, Void is probably the best Oatmeal Stout I've ever had.

I'll be craving it in another month. I'm not a seasonal kind of guy, but I definitely crave stouts when the weather gets colder.

Just saw that CW announced that Sean Piel (Cold Creek Head Brewer) will joining Counterweight to help lead the production staff. Interesting as Sean's beer typical style is pretty different from Counterweight's. Also curious what this means for Cold Creek...

It would be interesting. It didn't say that Sean is a brewer for CW but that could eventually change esp if CW tries to come up with some juicebombs going forward. The latest Inundation is a step in that direction.

Counterweight responded to my Facebook message that, "He will be our full time head brewer."

Oh crap so two head brewers? Matt and Sean?

Possible...but probably only one head brewer.

The new audition is very trillium and Other Half esque. Seems like Sean is bringing some cold creek style brews to Hamden.

Got some cans of Inundation and Weisses & Virtue a few weeks back. Both very good. They just make rock solid beers

The new Audition is very close to Tree House Green. It's delicious and I love Galaxy.
