I just finished a room temp 2015 KBS sipping it out of a tulip glass while watching a war movie. It lasted over an hour. Very enjoyable. I am looking forward to stout season and cool days at the cabin - big time.

Oh, god! Is @SomethingClever forcing you to pretend to like that beer, too?? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Don't tell him what I'm about to tell you - I wasn't pretending.

For September 27th in New Jersey, it's a positively sultry evening. Perfect for this great West Coast IPA from Hawaii, courtesy of @y2kawakami. Cheers, everyone!

That can took a interesting trip, actually spent a week in my apartment before getting to @CanConPhilly, glab he is spreading the the Milkshake love around without asking $20/can!

It was a really good beer. If I had a top ten it would be in it.

One of their best Milkshakes, definitely getting a better with a week or two on it, it was a little green the day after canning.

Good evening BA, hope everyone had a good Hump day. Pretty busy day again, working on finishing up auditing data for the European compliance testing. Pretty quick feeling day. Did my usual mid week bottle returns and mini beer haul after work.

    Today's reviews:

Just got Apricot Dank today, so I am three behind on reviews already. This was excellent as expected! Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, mango, melon, passion fruit, berry, lemon zest, orange peel, and light pepper/pine hops; with balanced wheat, biscuity malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hops earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; nice bready/grainy wheat creaminess and light hop stickiness in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Super drinkable and refreshing. Great mix of juicy and dank Mosaic hop character; with perfectly balanced malts. Never sweet or heavy feeling. This was just a tad more drying than most others in the series, but zero complaints at all. Spot on NEIPA. 4

Delicious light lager! Fantastic head retention and thick soapy lacing down the glass. Crystal clarity. Aromas and flavors of cracker, corn, white bread, and lightly toasted biscuit malts; with very mild herbal, grassy, light peppery noble hops. A bit fruity/yeasty in the aromas, but not overwhelming. Mild herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation, light-medium bodied, and fairly crisp/clean finishing. Nice bready/grainy malts, and light sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing bitter dryness. Very clean lagering, minimal yeasty flavors. Very flavorful and refreshing, 4.25%. I really doubt this is truly a light lager by definition(carbs/calories ect); but damn is this a great American-style Pale lager anyways. Definitely lives up to the name. Would totally drink again. Very well made, spot on for the American style. 3.91

Awesome fruit sour! Great head retention and spotty lacing for the style. Aromas and flavors of big tart/sour lemon, lime, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, grapefruit, tangerine, peach, apricot, citrus peel, green apple, white wine, hay, straw, grass, oak, and pepper; with balanced wheat/cracker malts; and lighter notes of leathery/musty funk, and white wine vinegar. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang; light yeast/oak spiciness and herbal/grassy/citrus peel hop bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; balanced bready/grainy malt, lactic acid, fruit tang, and light oak tannins/hop stickiness in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing lactic/tangy fruit dryness; zero puckering sourness. Complexity refreshing with the balanced acidity. Awesome mix of passion fruit, Brett/Lacto complexity, and citrus/fruity/tropical hops; nice solid malt backbone to balance acidity; and nice overall oak presence. A definite winner. 4.15

You probably have to, since each batch gets bottled and placed directly in your trunk.

    Good luck, @goingbrokeonbeer :smirk:

If you say anything less than epic you will probably hurt his feelings because he thinks that is literally liquid gold. I retract that. He doesn't have feelings. Only an unhealthy obsession with that beer.
