I try to make it a point to drink this each September. One of my favorites. This one happened to be canned on my 11th wedding anniversary in July. Bonus.

 

Now pounding Mosaic Promise and watching college football. I swear, if this was in 15-packs year round it would be a staple of mine. As long as it stayed relatively fresh of course...

Spent the afternoon on the side of a soccer field today. One of those raw, cold days in Boston where 52 degrees means a wet wind ripping through whatever layers of clothes you have on.

Les Claypool’s birthday today. The first time I saw Primus was back in Oakland in 1990, right around the time of this clip. Most violent mosh pit I ever saw was that Oakland Primus show. They must have been Raiders fans.

 

I really enjoyed it as well. It's been a very good year for black lagers by me- hopefully that's an indication of things to come!

 

Drinking a fine example of a Montana Brewed (Seasonal Sadly) Double IPA from Red Lodge Brewing. Using Magnum, Galena, and Centennial Hops then Double Dry hopped with a blend of five different hops balanced by Montana-Grown 2 row and Idaho-Grown Wheat Malts. OG: 17.5. Plato, ABV 7.7, IBU 75. This one qualifies as Liquid sex in a bottle folks. A nice slow drinking IPA that tastes better as it warms . As always Cheers to all you other Hop Heads out there. Life is Good!

 

Brough some Jai Alai for this very occasion. About to catch the sunset here in 30 minutes.

Actually, it's an enjoyable brew but just doesn't seem to fit the proclaimed style to me.

 

Lakefront Brandy Barrel Aged Pumpkin Ale. I like this I just wish the flavors came out a little more, need to let this one warm for sure.
