What beer are you drinking now? #1809

For some reason my wife wants me to eat a lot of oysters.

 

Piney, earthy, bitter DIPA. Wouldn’t buy everyday but nice change of pace.

 

Probably my favorite from this Brewery. Very solid and I am a little surprised.

A rare night to my self. Having my first Xocoveza of the season with a nice smoke in the garage, catching up on some Narcos.

Should have posted this with my last post but Imgur was screwing with me so I decided to post half of what I intended while the going was good using tinypic.

Had a brown ale from Lost Colony which was good, but this pale ale sucked. Told the bartender the same.

My happy place is my back deck with the tiki's blazing. My timing is off with this beer but works for me.

Odin's One Eye IPA...I've been drinking a lot of IPA and fresh off the tap from a solid local brewery is always great.

 

What is up. I'm having a NG Staghorn on a really shitty day. From the biggest Tom Petty fan in the world, this really sucks. I just saw him in July and he put on a hell of a show. You never know I guess. Man this sucks. Cheers people.

After having a bad beer at the bar, decided to have an old faithful. Yes a Yuengling. Then got serious again when we got back to the room and had an NC beer.

Last brew of the night Macadamia Nut Pale Ale...really has a great smell and taste of Macadamia Nut. This is awesome.

After the dust is settling from the news of both the Las Vegas massacre and the loss of Tom Petty, I needed something a bit stout:

...exactly 11 months to-the-day...this is a really great offering. Since the 2017 batch of (non-BA-aged) Ten-FIDY has been recently been released, I should have waited to exercise some sort of comparison. However, I do not have that luxury. In short, this still tastes great and am fortunate to have had this and have one more can in my arsenal.

R.I.P. Tom Petty and wish all those injured at the hand of that a#$hole in Las Vegas a speedy recovery. Not to be forgotten, I hope that all suffering in Puerto Rico are (FINALLY) getting the care and supplies that they so desperately need.
