I heard about the hype with this one and it did not disappoint. Great mix of fruity and resiny dankness. Thanks @beerloserLI!

I wanted to turn this one into a bit of an experiment. Had it from the can, a tulip and a stange and was quite surprised at the difference it made. Especially when comparing the tulip and the stange, I really noticed more profound fruit and pine aromas from the tulip and a more profound bitterness from the stange. Quite interesting, really, didn't expect that.

Inside now ba. God damn it gets dark fast. This is Azores, a dry hopped pilsner, from barrier brewing here on the island. Kind of a mix between a summer pilsner and ipl at 4.7% abv. Lots of lemon and a sort of soapy feel. Ah, its ok but nothing great. (That feeling when you buy a whole 4 pack, with great expectations, and realize it's kind of shit, and you've got three more cans sitting there.) 10/2/17,

Watching the Cubs play in a monsoon, this (Bare Hands Strawberry Milkshake DIPA) is spectabulous, IMHO.

    Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest.

This beer has been very good. While not Sierra Nevada's best Oktoberfest, it is a nice mix of tradition and an offering of something new. From the orange-amber color and the caramel and honey malts to the delicate balance of hops, it is all Oktoberfest. A nice little punch of spicy, earthy and black tea like hops. Where it veers off is the mouth feel and and the level of carbonation, which is high for the style. While drinkable, it suffers from the lack of that creamy, fluffy mouthfeel that is a signature of the style. 3.5ish, should we say?
    Cheers, all. Let's Go Yankees!
