    Warm day, cold beer, quiet house, life is good . . .

    Light clear lemon yellow color with white cap and good lacing.

    Dark, forest floor vegetal aroma with a sharp citrus zest influence.

    Taste is hop forward, sharp, citrusy, bitter with a surprising malt middle that sorta holds it all together. For a single hop this one's a wowzer, providing everything from scent through flavor then finishing with hop bitterness well into the aftertaste.

    Medium texture with balancing carbonation.

    I approached this brew without any preconceived notions and liked what I found.

    Elegantly vinous, grainy, bright, earthy/grassy barnyard funk with notes of fruit, apple, faint berry, pine, citrus, and lemon rind. The wood and oak characteristics come out beautifully: Oxbow essentials. To add, one gets a refined tartness and a well timed dryness with hay/satchel elements and balanced complexity + super refreshing

    The intricacies with temp fluctuations....
