I always loved Cirrus. It seemed to be very consistent over the past three batches. It's a shame.

I’m fine with the 12oz can, just give me 6 of them! That’s 8 more ounces than a 4-pack of tall boys.

    Even better!

On a side note. I drank two Hubbard's Cave V6 last night. That is a delicious brew!

I agree the 12 oz 4 pack is just wrong. But I do have to say $14 for 48oz is still better then them putting it in a 500ml bottle for ~$11 (double jungle boogie) or a 22oz bomber for ~$10-$16 (lots of other local breweries)

ive never understood why everyone loves the 16 ounce cans. Maybe i'm the weird one, but if the beer is anything over 7%, i'd much rather have 2 12oz cans that have 2 16oz cans. I feel these 16oz cans can get kind of dangerous. The "i'll just have one more beer" mentality can get risky when we start talking about NvU, Navaja, Stratus, ect...

To me its the same logic as somone who hates bombers, i don't want to commit to that much all the time.

thats surprising. I haven't had this batch, but i thought they had that recipe set in stone.

16 oz cans are much more shareable than anything in a 12 oz format. That's my main reason. I can't remember the last time I drank a beer without sharing it (not including bars and the like).

For me it's pretty simple--if I like a beer, I never feel like 12 oz is enough. 16 is the perfect balance between "damn, I want more but don't want to waste another whole can" and "ugh, this is way too much beer to go with the shots I'm pounding."

With that being said, I might feel differently if l drank more than one beer a night at home.

I love 16oz cans. Fill the 12-14oz glass, and then there's always a bit left to add, which is great because I primarily buy beers I already know I really like. When I drink 16oz cans, 95% I'm drinking them at my house and have no reason to worry. Yeah, sometimes it gets a bit far out there but so what? I end up passing out on the couch and wake up with the game still on, 2 quarters later. With 12oz I'm always feeling like I got short changed and want more.

You can't remember the last time you drank a beer without sharing it? That's so bizarre to me. Even when I trade for beer I always try to get 2 so my brother can have his own. I don't want to share a 12 or 16 oz beer if i can avoid it.

I had the previous release and felt the mouthfeel (which I prescribed to the oats) was gone from when I first had it. I don’t think it’s unfair to say the Hailstorm Cloud a series is inconsistent

Hubbard's Cave IIPA V6 is a very interesting beer! Extremely bright to my palate, although not unbalanced. To me, the shape is a sforzando. Full bodied, quiets quickly, crescendos rapidly, then resolves. Neat.

Yep, drinking one of the latest batch now and agree with you. Maybe not the best batch they've made but a lot closer.

Arguing between 12 and 16 ounces is silly imo. The key is to get away from bombers and 750s. This is where the pricing f#*ks us all.

Did a blind tasting with some friends last weekend with 3 Other Half beers, Moonraker, Track 7, Weldwerks, Mikerphone, More and Overhaze. Surprisingly Overhaze was best in show and by quite a healthy margin.

Just had Overhaze tonight and really liked it. Thought the balance was great and easy drinking. Not sure it’s the full on NE style, bit I dig it.

My wife and I share every beer we get. I get 2 most of the time too, so I can try them a couple weeks apart. If my wife drank full 16 oz cans, she'd get to try 2, maybe 3 beers per night so we split them and she can try more variety.
