Surprisingly watchable game so far on MNF!

Next up is my first Santa Fe Brewing Co. beer - 7K IPA. Good tasting beer, but don't love the debris floating in it. Great aroma too.

Still enjoying my Dank Frank Juice, but just found out that John Dunsworth, Jim Lahey from TPB died today. I know he's got a lotta fans on this site - including me. RIP.

Wow that's really sad. That show is in my top 5 of all time and Lahey was probably my favorite character besides Ricky. RIP indeed.

Awesome sour! Great head retention and lacing for the style. Aromas and flavors of huge tart/sour apricots, peach, pineapple, mango, melon, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, green apple, fruit skin, citrus zest, white wine, hay, straw, grass, pepper, and musty funk; with moderate wheat/crackery malts; slight touch of white vinegar. Moderate fruity/lactic tartness, yeast spiciness, and fruit tang on the finish. Medium bodied/carbonation and moderately crisp. Balanced grainy wheat, lactic acidity, and fruit tang in the mouthfeel. Moderately increasing lactic/tangy dryness, never puckering. Highly refreshing for a sour. Seriously fantastic balance between the apricots, citrus/fruity hops, and Brett/Lacto complexities; with a nice pale malt backbone to balance the acidity. Just finished off the 4 pack, wouldn't mind grabbing another. I love all of the canned sours from this brewery.

Delicious american brown ale as usual. Did not have this in years, before I revisited it recently. Flavors of big caramel, brown sugar, toffee, brown bread, toasted biscuit, nuttiness, and light chocolate/cocoa/coffee malts; with some light-moderate herbal/peppery hops. Light-moderate herbal/spicy hop and powdered cocoa bitterness on the finish. Medium-plus bodied bready/grainy creaminess; with some light chalky roast and hop stickiness. Lightly increasing bitter/roasted dryness. Super drinkable. Spot on to style. Need to grab this more often.

Great IPA as always. Flavors of bright grapefruit, tangerine, peach, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, and pine hops; with some light caramel/bready malt balance; and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine/rind/spicy bitterness. Medium bodied; moderately sticky/resinous mouthfeel, with a fair amount of balancing malt creaminess. Moderate increasing resin dryness, no hop astringency. Highly drinkable, and very juicy on hop flavors. Really classic tasting IPA. Glad for the can dating, because this is an IPA I always come back to. Always freshly available, less than a month old on this can. Columbus, Centennial, and a bit of Simcoe going on.

Awesome batch last year, still tasting delicious! Over a year old now. Flavors of big dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, black cherry, and toasted dark bread; with lighter notes of smoke, char, and herbal/floral hops. Light-moderate herbal hop/roast bitterness and light fruit tartness on the finish; with a nicely balanced bittersweet finish with tart cherry/charred flavors. Lightly increasing roast/charred dryness. Medium-full bodied creamy/silky mouthfeel; some sticky/chalkiness from hop/roasted notes. This is a lot less aggressively roasty/charred on the bitterness than the 2015 batch I had re-reviewed way back. I bet the much larger 9.2% ABV has a lot to do with that though. Grabbed two more lingering singles off the shelf last weekend, after loving the BBA version.

Having one of my Dragonsaddles, while watching Captain America: Civil War. No pic, but it tastes like mango bubblegum this year. Last year I noted peach orange pineapple with some dank cannabis. This year it's much sweeter and all mangoes. Yeah, Hoof killing it with consistency, eh @SomethingClever

It feel very strong like an onion or crabgrass but also vegetal. Same reason i dont like Stone Delicious IPA. Its just that hop. But the black tie was ok for me more so than others.
