Not sure what part of PA you are in but $19.99 seems to be about the going rate for SN 12 packs and I don't see how this would be any less than that.

I was really looking forward to trying the IPL but I am not all disappointed that Celebration will take its place. Love Celebration, the first IPA that I really enjoyed. SN has been getting a lot of my money lately, Hoptimum, Oktoberfest collaboration, Narwhal, and coming soon to withdraw from my bank account, Snowpack, Estate, Harvest, and Fresh Hop Pack!

I hear you on the IPL. I was very excited about that one too... the prototypes were delicious. Sadly, the first round of that beer got away from us, and we were not able to make another batch in time to hit our market commitments. (The fresh hops were later than expected, and our lager took longer than expected) so we made the switch. I'm stoked for the cans of Cele, and we might be able to find a hope for the IPL yet. Stay tuned for more info. As soon as it's for sure, I'll let you know.

Thanks for the info. Cans of Celebration are a nice unintended consequence!

In a related question @sierranevadabill ...will stores like Costco be selling these as a 24-can case? Or will we just see 12-packs at retailers?

That's part of the reason I don't buy SN that much. At close to $40 a case I'm out. I do get down to DE every once In a bit and will pick up some SN at $12-16 when I stop

    Enjoy

I don't know why. I have been drinking Celebrstion since early 1990's. The beer just started to be really syrupy and not crisp. I put myself as the reason here not the beer. Since I have been drinking much less IPA and crazy this year I hope it's back to tasting like I remember.

I am not a hazy IPA fan , I like the pine bite and crisp feel.

    Enjoy

The fact that they've been releasing it for the holiday season for decades.

Is Celebration on shelves or at bars anywhere yet? Heading to SF today and saw some draft checkins at the brewery taproom on Untappd.

If you are paying $16 for SN seasonal and year round 12 packs then expect to pay more for the fresh hop pack, posted by sierranevadabill a couple pages back:

"It will be priced higher than seasonal 12's but not as high as the Beer Camp Across the World packs."

So in MA I usually pay ~$15 for the regular 12's and the BeerCamps were $29 - so let's say split the difference @ $22.

Might the Celebration come in six packs of cans as well?
