Being from SE Michigan, my friend and I were debating this the other day. We are both fans of IPAs and are both very lucky to live in Michigan, a state with some incredible beer companies. For those of you who live in the area (or happen to have had some of these beers anyway), what's your favorite? Even if you haven't had them all, what ones HAVE you had, and what did/didn't you like about them?

Personally, and luckily having had all the ones listed, I have to say my vote goes to Centennial, and my friend's goes to Two Hearted.

I picked Two Hearted just because i find myself buying that more than Founders Centennial but i think both are equally delicious.

I havent had Huma-lupa-licious so i cant comment on that one, same with Arbor brewings ipa but in this order id go

    1.Two Hearted/Centennial
    2. Two Hearted/Centennial
    3. Crooked Tree
    4. Dunegras
    5. Mad Hatter

I havent had all of those so its hard to vote but my personal favorite is Centennial. Followed very closely by two-hearted.

Two Hearted - one of only a handful of Bells beers I would pick over Founders for a same style head 2 head.

Short's Huma-lupa gets my vote with the Crooked Tree pulling up second. Two hearted is certainly "2.1" though.

As a standby, every day IPA, Two Hearted might be as close to perfect as possible. It also seems to deal with age a whole lot better than Centennial, which gets pretty malty after a while.

I drink far too much Two Hearted for it not to be the best.

Two Hearted is the IPA that got me into the style, and is still a stand by for me.

Two Hearted wins for me every time. But I do like Centennial and Huma-Lupa-Licious for a close second and third.
