Super duper excited for this. Just hope it's not a crap shoot looking for it and I can land a bottle or two.

There have been rumors that 12oz bottles might be available for the ticketed brewery release. I'm local/near Founders so I hope that is true because 750ml will devastate my bank account.

They would have probably just been broken up and sold for 24.99 each in most instances anyway.

By: available everywhere, do they mean as available as KBS is?

That's what I was wondering. My local area got bombed by KBS last year. I think there are still a few places I could pick up a 4 pack. Then again, the year or two before that it was sparse and nearly non-existent.

I hope they make as much CBS as they did KBS last year and this isn't some ultra-hyped, supped-up trade value release.

Founders opened up a new facility 100% dedicated to barrel aging. That is why everyone saw a huge increase in availability of KBS (and the other Barrel Series beers). We can all hope it is as available as all of the others!

At 25 bucks each I'll probably only buy 4 of them but I haven't been too impressed with Founders barrel aged beers since they started distro in here in NorCal.

Eagerly looking forward to this ticket information. I might have a long drive up to Grand Rapids or Detroit.

Yeah! I had heard that caused the spike in KBS this past year, and the reason we've seen a more consistently rotating barrel aged beer line-up from them. I hope they utilize that facility to its fullest potential for CBS! The limiting factor would be availability of maple syrup barrels, as I hear those are not the most obtainable barrels.

Oh sweet!! I'm excited! Will be for sure on the hunt for these. We got a shitload of KBS the past few years in the Bay Area so hopefully I can find some CBS.

Exactly! Not really complaining, but pointing it out. Every single Barrel-Aged Series release this year was in 4-packs and 750 mL bottles. Why not have this in 4-packs as well. However, I'd like to thank Founders for doing the right it. Hoping to get my hands on at least a bottle or two...or ten!

I'm 100% indifferent between 4 packs and 750s conditional on getting to try it. I suspect that if they are in 750s, places will have a 1pp limit. If they were in 4-packs, I suspect a number of places would still just allow a 4-pack. So, if this in anyway means I have a better shot, I am all for it.

If recent history serves, I will be able to get a lot of this on Arkansas. I'm excited for it, but I'm sad it's only in $25 750s. That will greatly decrease what I buy.

Yeah, pretty sure they mean their entire distro footprint. My big question is will it be released everywhere on 12/1, like KBS is everywhere on 4/1 every year, or will they be shipping for distro to their footprint on 12/1? It reads like it will be one big national release on 12/1, which works out really well for me.

Regarding the format, I would have preferred 4 packs, but I'll quickly get over that. Like, I'm already over it.

I think they intend for a big release on 12/1. The interesting aspect to this is that KBS being released on the 4/1 (a saturday as I recall) screwed up when places were getting it. Lots of places did not end up releasing the following Monday, but instead later that week. I know many places in Indiana don't get distro from Founders until Friday's each week. 12/1 happens to be a Friday, so it will be interesting is this actually gets released everywhere on 12/1.

I'm done with overpriced large bottles. KBS was nearly twice as expensive per ounce in the 750 mL bottles. Thankfully, it was plentiful in 4 packs. I'm super excited about CBS and I will buy exactly as much as I can get in 12 oz bottles. There's too much other great beer out there to overpay.
