What beer are you drinking now? #1847

On sale at the Co-Op today, two Uinta six packs for $7. Got one of the Lime Pilsner and a six of the Helles Lager. Hard to pass up a good deal, even if they're past the BB date a bit.
This is decent, kind of like a lime soda.

The bourbon is gone. Still working on the celebration. A Live Oak Hefe sounds pretty damn good right now! I'm sure the Pils is very nice also.

 

I just drank one of these from the can, (not pictured) and now I'm drinking one from the glass. It's so much better from the glass! The carbonation softens and the aromatics explode. Why would anyone not prefer a glass?

 

Live Oak don't make bad beer IMHO ... and this batch of the Pilz ... the bread malt flavor is better than ever, and the hops biting like crazy. Glad I bought a couple sixers last Houston beer run.

The Alchemist's John Kimmich convinced me to try out of the can, and he's exactly right about how the CO2 cloud sits on top of the beer in the can and keeps it tasting right. But when you want that nice softness and big bouquet, you gots to pour (I know I always do):

Been a little too spicy for me lately. My tastebuds have drifted away from those sort of beers

 

55 suprised that didn't shut stuff down there, or at least cause a coat panic. Usually, once it got below 60 I was cold over there...

 

Looks like a glass of orange juice, I'd be tempted to drop some vodka in that bad boy.
