What beer are you drinking now? #1850

Even at three and a half months old, this is great. I need to try it fresher. Man, everything from Lord Hobo has been fantastic. This is my least favorite thus far, and yet it's still really good!

 

A new IPA from Stillwater. Experimentally hopped. The bottom of the can says Citra, but some people on BA are talking about Amarillo, Centennial, and Simcoe. Whatever. It tastes heavily of lemon, lime, orange, and pineapple. Thin cracker malt. Some candied lime sweetness, but no real bitterness nor lingering sweetness. A little dankness on the finish. Overall, pretty tasty and refreshing.

 

Time for a nightcap. This beer is a godsend for coffee lovers. The coffee smells and taste fresh, rich, and roasty. This is more like a coffee mixed with some beer than the other way around. Wonderful. Another winner from Firestone Walker.
