What beer are you drinking now? #1864

It's been in the bottle since June. Just getting used to batch corn sugar additions instead of carb drops. Not getting even carbonation between bottles.

 

Most ‘crushable’ ba stout ever.

 

Some Double Dry Hopped Melcher canned today.



Then some Prairie Paradise that really disappointed. I remember loving my last bottle. This one just hit me as too sweet and with not enough depth.

 

I know that feeling. I had a batch of strong ale that sat for a long time and bottle after bottle was lifeless. I had those things stacked by my furnace hoping that some extra heat would help the yeast.

Budget meeting with the Frau didn't go so well. She says I'm gonna have to get back to work, or she'll have to get a second job if I wanna keep buying "fancy beers." Looks like I'm gonna find her a second job! Cheers.

 

Probably the last beer of an awesome 5 days off. The freaking kids took an hour and a half to go to sleep, BOOO, so I wanted something big and bold and this class BA stout always fit the bill.

Dude, just be happy she is keeping your sorry ass in line. BTW, I have found that most Trader Joes beers (includes Josephsbrau) are a bargain. Was there today. They had some holiday stouts. Did not buy any but will when we go again next week.

What is up. Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving weekend. I'm having a Celebration and flipping between Man vs Food and Wrestling. I realized it's been a year today since I had a cigarette. I still like cigars which are like 40 unfiltered cigarettes at the same time, but those are ok. Anyway, if anyone wants to surprise me with an early Christmas present, here you go.
