    Spent the day sightseeing with Mrs. Z and Jr., including hitting up the two biggest Christmas markets (more Gluewein!). Home with my grocery store biers:



    First snow here overnight, at least 3 inches, and snow flurries all day as we bussed/walked around olde towne and the markets:



    Münster, Basel’s monumental cathedral, original built in the 1200’s rebuilt after earthquake in 1384, and added to/renovated in the Gothic style until the early 1500s, when it switched from Catholic to Protestant following the reformation in 1520:

    Delirium Christmas. Another modern classic christmas beer I like to taste at least once a year.

    Is it just here? There are so manny Christmas and winter beers around this year in these parts. Almost impossible to try them all before New Years Eve. A luxury problem indeed.

    My Christmas will be without beer again. Because of wine with dinner etc. I have some Christmas beers to enjoy (and bother you with) around the specific date however.
