    Long day...2 museums...home and starting tonight with my favorite super cheap Lager-Euro Strong:



    The first museum had a spectacular exhibit of finalists/winners in various age groups/categories of wildlife photography in a juried competition (UK) as well as a very well laid out natural history museum, some info. in English. No photos allowed :-(

    Next was the Tingley Museum, a Swiss sculptor who singlehandedly created the kinetic art space in the ‘50s and ‘60’s:



    The above piece is 2 stories high with much of it moving/rotating (including Santa).

    David Brinkley/NBC news did a TV program on Tingley in 1960 when the artist created a moving sculpture which ultimately blows up with dynamite, in the Las Vegas desert. “The End of the World, part 2” was the name of the sculpture, and Brinkley showed construction to Kaboom! ...art/sculpture meets performance art...perhaps tame today, but cutting edge “art” back then...

    Cheers you all! 'Tis the season. Please enjoy some Christmas music and a brilliant lager beer. I love this. Just saying. This beer is the reason I say the word delightful so much since I started drinking beer.
