    Slept in late, then big buffet breakfast at hotel. Went home, packed and cleaned the apartment. Travel by train day. First beer today, one that i picked up in Luzern - Brauerei Eichhof’s “Lager”:



    I like better than most Helles I’ve had recently. Lite spice hop with a bready distinctive maltiness on the backend. I’d definitely drink again. Cheers and Happy 2018 from Zurich!

    First "official" beer of the New Years and a new one for me.

    Prairie Artisan Ales - Prairie Noir

    The barrel and vanilla presence in this thing are off the charts. Right amount of booze, a touch sweet but some underlying bitterness that rounds it out. Another winner from Prairie. Going to have to look out for other Noir.
