    Old Fashion Break in between beers. Got the mix for Christmas from wife and always found them too sweet. I’ve got it down now and they’re quickly growing on me this holiday season. Glass of bourbon with just a splash of mix. Not bad. Anyway, I digress.

    Well the Big 10 was ready to go 8-0 in bowl games. But.....if we had to lose one game, at least it was...you know, that team up north. Hahahahahahaha.

    Just got home after a night of ridiculously good beers.
    Wild Child and Petit Mutant from The Alchemist were fantastic, everyone agreed, and their respective Cellars at Jasper Hill "Willoughby" soft cheeses (whose rinds were washed in the beer) paired with their namesake beers made for 2 unbelievable experiences. However, the standout of the night was BFM's Abbaye de Saint Bon-Chien aged in Bordeaux barrels.
    Simply the best beer I've had in a long, long time.

    Canned 12/07/17.
    Moderate to vigorous pour yields a one inch white creamy head over a hazy body with some sticky sheeting lacing. Nose of pine, slight tropical fruit. and a bit of onion wafting in and out. Taste of pineapple bitterness and very slight citrus pith bitterness. Nice feel and overall, quite the bitter experience. Cheers!
