WTF!?!? A clear DIPA? A slight tropical/citrus juice front with a malty sweet lean but with the spruce tips coming through lightly. An interesting goal from Three Notch'd:
I like it! Have to chill my Triple Barrel BBB a little, though most likely it'll be saved for Saturday or Sunday.

Fantastic NEIPA! Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, lemon/orange zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with balanced wheat, biscuit, light honeyed malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Very mild pine, zesty, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very creamy/bready/grainy malt mouthfeel with light hop stickiness. Minimal bitter dryness. Super refreshingly drinkable, a perfectly soft mouthfeel. Super juicy and lightly dank Citra hop complexity; balanced malt backbone, without being overly sweet/heavy feeling. Definitely the top favorite of the single hopped versions thus far. Still need to review the Pink Guava one.

Always amazing, though not as hazy as last year. Flavors of huge grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, light pepper, and pine hops; with wheat, bready, light honeyed malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus peel, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium bodied; balanced bready/grainy malt and sticky/resinous hops in the mouthfeel. Crisp/drying finish and never astringent on bitterness. Amazing juicy, vibrant, and dank hop profile; refreshingly drinkable for an IPA. Mosaic and Equinox hops are my favorite of all time. They have been changing around the hops every year; but as long as those two stay, I don't care much. Got 3 packs so far, might get another if I see it. Down to 1 pack now. Holds up well.

Awesome as usual. Still got 1 left from last year's batch.. Some lingering singles/packs on the shelf if I want more too. Flavors of big nutty medium roast coffee; with milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, caramel, toffee, molasses, toasted dark bread, and hints of dark fruits. Bittersweet creamy/silky medium-plus body, and lightly sticky/chalky balanced mouthfeel. Touch of roasted dryness. Great well balanced coffee/stout complexity. Doesn't hold a candle to the Founders, but I still love it for it's own reasons. More of balanced coffee stout, with more dark malt sweetness and less roast/char dryness; while still having a ton of nutty/fruity coffee character. Hope they bring it back eventually, not on the 2018 calendar either; but I thought the Arabicadabra was similarly as impressive for a lower ABV coffee milk stout. Haven't seen it around lately though.

Incredible! Flavors of big raisin, plum, fig, date, cherry, grapefruit, apricot, apple, orange peel, pine, caramel, maple, brown sugar, toffee, vanilla, bourbon, toasted oak, coconut, brown bread, and biscuit; with light notes of chocolate, coffee, smoke, and charred wood. Mild increasing booze in the aromas as it warms. Light-moderate pine/citrus peel bitterness and bourbon/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; balanced bready creaminess, hop stickiness, and oak tannins in the mouthfeel. Slightly slick, silky, syrupy, and chalky. Light-moderate increasing bitter hop/tannic oak dryness. Never astringent. Pleasantly warming 14.3%, minimal barrel booze. For an American barleywine, this is perfectly executed. There is a fair share of bitter hops; but they are amazingly well balanced with the barrel tannins and creamy malts. This had a really impressive evolution in the glass as it warmed up. More hop flavors came through and balanced against the dark fruity character of the yeast. Never overly tannic or drying on the hops or barrels. Might grab another pack as they still sit around locally. Love the entire CW barrel series.

One of my favorite Prog bands. Their 2016 album wasn't as amazing as the previous ones, but it grew on me. Hopefully a new one in the next few years. They really don't have a consistent release schedule like some other bands.

Moderate pour yields a one inch plus white head over a nice and bright body with some nice sticky lacing. Nose of pine and orange. Taste of pine and orange. Very refreshing and easy drinking with a good feel. Overall a clean beer and a very pleasant experience. Nice!

First of the year. It might not be the sexiest beer anymore, but it still tastes fantastic. Always juicier than I remember and awfully creamy...

Happy Thursday ba. Getting into another sick ass box from the great @GreenBayBA here. Almost forgot how good this stuff is. The spices work so well and I love how the cinnamon plays off the strong barrel presence. Super smooth and it goes down so fast despite its abv,

The dark lager style does very well when barrel aged. Wolverine is a good Michigan example, and Schell has done a few cave aged ones that were just jaw-dropping. I think it needs to be done more - the barrel really comes through without the heavy feel and astringent roast of stouts. :sunglasses:

Good enough for the purpose. Negative exposure compensation (-0.7EV?-1.0?) & maybe change to spot metering , the spot being the white label, can help when the object is different from the overall, & might get over exposed or underexposed. I often end up moving the bottle or the glass a bit, to get them on the same plane . The one that ends up here might be the 3rd or 4th (or 7th:flushed:)attempt. (x 3-4 shots). :sunglasses:
