Happy Friday BA's!! First of four days off for me and the Ms's. Really like this Trellis Buster, at 8 weeks old the bitters has come a bit to the forefront, and a few floaties, not a problem for me.

Home early due to our office server being down all morning.....I am not complaining

The baby either.....TGIF BA's!

 

Almost ready for a nice salad lunch. If Westbrook doesn't start distributing to FL soon I'll be making an overnight run to SC. Pool's a balmy 62 degrees....hoping for the sun to break through to warm the 65 degree temp so we can get some sun (read nap in the chairs after beers and White Russians - hers).

Don't drink too much and drive.............

Clear rich gold color with white cap and lacing.

Aroma of grapefruit first and it's a very fresh scent with a touch of orange in the background.

Taste on entry is boldly grapefruit intermingled with hops that come across as both sharply citrus and firmly hoppy without going overboard either way. The best way I can describe the flavor is there's a lot of it and it's all good. There's plenty of malt in there as well, just singing more softly than the brighter flavors.

Medium texture with balancing carbonation.

This is a big, beautiful strawberry blonde with personality and great curves.

 

That is one of my favorite titles for beer ever. I can;t stand society hence the solitude. I used to find all kinds of solace in the piano which I did play. My neighbors back then would holler "NOT Scott Joplin again! How many times can we listen to maple leaf rag? How about one more time? I find it funny that the song is associated with a movie about con men.

 

Unlike the "normal" 100% Citra Dobis, this is the one-off Enigma Dry Hopped Dobis from 1/16/18.

This one is very West Coast - dry, hoppy, bitter. The Enigma hops are very interesting, where I couldn't really identify the flavors. It's kinda tropical fruity, but I'm also picking up a melon & coconut note?

And since the salad is gone I guess this fellow is desert....1st Slam of the year 1/17/18, love it!

I will commiserate with @jkblr since I too work overnights but will enjoy this hyped ale that has finally landed in The Sunshine State...my first in 3 years (and doesn't disappoint):

Freshness...this can was delivered merely hours ago to my local bottle shop (just over two weeks):

...well done Bell's, but Sixpoint (Hi-Res) will give it a run for both its aroma/flavor and (especially) price point.
