Moderate to vigorous pour yields 1/2 inch off-white, pinkish tan head over a dark mahogany brown body with no lacing. Nose of tart cherries and a bit of oak. Taste of tart cherries with a finish of salt on the tongue at the very end. Good feel for a Gose and overall, a cherry lover's dream. Cheers!

Afternoon BA

Took a vacation day today since the house has a stomach bug (except for me so far...knock on wood) and so I could take my daughter to the doctor.

Cracking open a mid afternoon IPA. My last can of Other Half IPA. They call this their West Coast IPA. It has some pine and grapefruit elements, but no bitterness to speak of. It actually reminds me more of an East Coast IPA, and I do not mean of the NE sort. It's good, but too malty for my preference. It's pretty hazy, but doesn't look like a glass of orange juice. There's a ton of sediment so it must be unfiltered. Not sure if it's DDH.

 

Yes .. I got it with wraps still on it from a guy at the flea market . It has like one scratch on it from where he stored it . I think they won it in a liquor store promotion .
