Happy # 60 to me today....yikes, how did I get so freakin' old?

My daughter and bf are on their way to Akron from C-bus for a little party she and my gf put together at a local Akron brewery this afternoon...I am a lucky dude!

Just back from a nice morning paddle on my lake, saw an eagle, swans, all sorts of migratory ducks, etc etc....very cool....I intend to fight old age with more fun outdoor activities, and good beer and food! Prost, all!

Sunday is by far the best day of the week for me as I get to stay in and cook new meals and drink new beer cheers

BBA BELGIAN STYLE QUAD





I must say that once again CW has killed it
This is hands down the most delicious brewed Belgian Style Quad that I’ve ever tasted and with the BBA flavor it rivals some of my Belgian favs. Not fair to compare them though as they are really not the same exact style, but I am very impressed .

I will be stocking up on all CW BBA BREWERS RESERVE series brews in hopes of making some last through the year .

Dead men on holiday went down fast time for some tanto... I was tempted to wash my hair with this

 

I’ve never seen that one nor any of the cream ales down here in any single store .
We only started getting Carton at all in the past year . You would think in NJ that Carton and zmagnify could figure out a way to distribute to the Jersey Shore

Taste on entry is malt rich with a hoppy firmness, all in a well balanced way. In fact all parts are introduced at the same time and remain integrated all the way to the finish. Aftertaste brings a little more hop assertiveness ending with a floral finish.
