Scheduled to get run over by Sandy. It's a shame I won't have this year's by then...I'll be opening a three year vertical while having a BBQ off the front of my garage. Mother of All Storms and Perfect Storm. Pretty fitting considered this storm is supposed to be even worse than the storm that "A Perfect Storm" was predicated off of.

Who gives a flying fuck what order they fall in? Everyone's got an opinion. They're all great an no one would bitch having one of any of them in front of them to drink. Everyone wins.

By the way. Mother of All Storms is being shipped to the east coast this year. It's due to arrive on Monday.

Seriously, who here thought this guy was talking about this hurricane that's going to bash the east coast? Haha.

It's the perfect kind of beer to drink during a hurricane!

Thanks for stating the obvious about everyone having opinions. I thought these forums were the place to voice my opinion. All hail retail1LO, the arbiter of proper forum etiquette.

Btw who was bitching about drinking those beers? I mean, I know KH is pretty much a drain pour at this point, but I didn't see anyone bitching about it on here.

It was his opinion that debating the relative merits of beers so close to perfection is not only futile, and impossible, but unnecessary. Guess you disagree. No reason to get upset about it, though.

Personally I am on his side, not yours, but that is like my opinion, man.

KH and MoaS are not even close to perfection. Both are complete drain pours compared to Leon. I wouldn't give up one of my 03' Natty Ice for either of them.

BTW, 03' Natty is drinking flawlessly right now. For a second there it almost made me believe there was a god.

:stuck_out_tongue: I didn't say anyone was bitching. It's just the thread is about the impending release of a beer. It's not even out yet. Shouldn't even matter how it compares to other beers...much less face comparisons to other beers when it hasn't even come out yet. I wasn't necessarily giving you grief for voicing your opinion, just didn't realize the thread was about "Which is better...."

No one's bitching about King Henry being a drain pour (whether it is or not) because it's not what the thread is about. And if I gave a fuck about forum etiquette, I'd probably not swear like I do.

Don't know which is scarier, thinking that you might actually cellar Natty Ice, or that you enjoy it with 9 years

I treasure my MoaS a tad more than my KH. Had 2011, earlier this year and it was orgasmic. <--OK, maybe not that good, but it was close!:grinning:

I'd be happy to trade a bottle or two of a hombrewed porter I have in the cellar. We call it "Unhappy Yeasties Off-flavored Porter", you'll love it.

I believe MOAS was to go on sale via phone on 10/26. I have yet to receive a call. Has the calling begun?
