Finally home from work and delivering some damn good homebrew to some brothers. I thought I would enjoy a real good Exalted IPA from Stone. Gee ain't it amazing that the IPA glass is 19 oz. and the cans are 12 oz makes you open 2 at a time.

Daily lager review, I've been really rolling through the classics lately. This was very good. Fantastic lacing/head retention for the style. Aromas and flavors of cracker, corn, white bread dough, and lightly toasted biscuit malt; with mild herbal/grassy hop earthiness. Touch of fruity aromas, but not overpowering. Mild herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation, light-medium body, fairly crisp/clean finishing. Bready/grainy malt, and light sticky hops in the mouthfeel. A touch thin, but not watery. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness. Very flavorful/refreshing, 5%. Very clean lagering. Surprisingly delicious. Clean pale malt/grain flavors, and decent hop presence; not overdone on the adjuncts at all. A few months past the BB dating, but it's probably been in the store fridge the whole time, so no harm done. 3.76

Thanks @The-Adjunct-Hippie. This was nice, not really a Hefe as I expected. Great head retention/lacing. Aromas and flavors of juicy/lightly tart strawberries, lemon, orange peel, honey, wheat, vanilla, and white bread dough; with light notes of banana, clove, pepper, herbal/grassy hop, and yeast earthiness. Very mild herbal/grassy bitterness, yeast spiciness, and fruit tartness on the finish. Medium-plus carbonation and medium body; creamy/bready/grainy wheat; light sticky hops and fruit acidity in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter/spicy dryness. Very flavorful/refreshing, 5.6%. For a fruited APWA it's well made. Balanced fruits, pale/wheat malts, and mild fruity/spicy yeast notes. Definitely has the American wheat yeast strain. 3.68

Brand new IPA from Mountain Town. This was very nice. Great head retention/lacing, a bit murky. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, mint, anise, citrus peel/rind, pepper, and pine hops; with moderate toasted bread, light caramel malt balance; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; balanced bready/grainy malt and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter/resin dryness, no hop astringency. Very easy drinking, never overly aggressive, 7.1%. As the name implies, this is definitely 100% Summit hops.Very vibrant, dank, and earthy hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, with minimal residual sweetness. A lot of people hate this hop, but I really enjoy it. Great mix of earthy and citrus notes. 3.88

I'm also enjoying the hell out of Melissa Bonny...

Rage of Light gets a little too "synthy" at times to be quite my cup of tea...

    But she's just awesome...

Another beautiful spring day here in Maine. We had a couple hours of snow, but didn't get hammered like our neighbors to the south of us.
This here is the perfect antidote to a long day of work.
