So true, Sam Adams is mainly brewed in Ohio and Pennsylvania, anyway. The beers are about as New England as an 85 degree day in January (or April for that matter).

We have a new minor league ball park in Detroit for a new minor league , United Shore Professional Baseball League.

Draft and Canned beers are like $6 or $7 around the park and the clubhouse usually has a craft special in the clubhouse, $2.00 for a bottle of craft and a small popcorn.

I am not a baseball fan, but sipping a cheap craft beer at their ball park while my kids run around shagging foul balls and home run balls is my new favorite summer activity.

Edit: There has never been a good craft beer for $2.00. One week it was some shelf Abita, another week it was some wheat beer form a brewer I do not remember, but still $2.00 bucks for a beverage wheat beer and a small popcorn cannot be beat.

Is there a brewery that makes no effort to put out a quality product and constantly spits in the face of it's fans? Cause if so that would be perfect for the Pirates.
(Yes I know they've gotten of to a decent start but they'll finish at least 20 games under 500)

More accurate representation would be giving you a case of tree house julius, letting you take one sip of the first beer, then immediately trading it for keystone light.

Courtesy of Terrapin; albeit gimmicky. Not a bad beer.

Not "my team", but wouldn't the obvious choice for the Padres be .394 San Diego Pale Ale (or the "Hall of Fame" imperial version of the same)?

When you have a captive audience, and you know they can't get it anywhere else (or bring it in for that matter), you can charge whatever you damn well please. It's the same way for an NFL, NBA, or NHL game.

Yep, won't dispute that. Doesn't make it suck any harder. I'd argue due to pace of the game you need beer infinitely more at a baseball game to enjoy it.

In the Rockies inaugural season, Coors Light put out a beer in a bat shaped bottle, I believe I still have it. No matter, I’m a Yankee fan

I remember seeing that one, too, but I bought this one just for the bottle.

At Seattle's stadium a 12oz can of Georgetown Bodhizafa will set you back 6 whole dollars. It's a damn fine IPA.

OK, lets do some deductive work.

The Milwaukee Braves - played there from '53 - '65, the KC Athletics played there from '55 - '67, so we can narrow it down '55 to '65. Senators last season in Washington was 1960, so we can further narrow down the list to '55-'60. Cincinnati was known as the Redlegs from 1953 - 1959, so that narrows it down to '55 to '59. Thats about all I got - how close am I @jesskidden?

The Phillies official beer sponsor now is Yuengling - which is great considering it used to be Budweiser (I believe - for 40 years) so all I remembered was Budweiser.

But since the question is what beer clearly defines the team? idk ... its hard to get a handle on this team right now, but the last few years, bud light would have been about right ...
