    This is the last of my daily drinkers in the fridge, except for three BS BULLYICIOUS golden stouts that I found to be terrible . I’m donating them back to the store workers for their opinions .
    Only thing left now in the house are cellar beers and I already dipped into them twice, so today is a must Beer run ..

    LAGUNITAS DARK SWAN SOUR ALE
    8.5 abv

    Beautiful beer with a nice taste that I enjoy in small 12 Oz doses like most sours .

    Light golden yellow color with white cap.

    Aroma of mild malt and spicy, floral hops.

    Rather hop forward on entry (45 IBU) that overshadows the two row malt. Malt presence persists though in a supporting role. I do find the malt has some fullness and just a kiss of sweetness though it finishes dry. Hops are consistent throughout with a spicy firmness that ends on a refreshing note.

    Medium texture with balancing carbonation.

    Overall it's a good take on Pils, or at least an American interpretation of it, that comes across as fairly complex and eminently drinkable.

    I am staring out of the window with my dog, waiting for a box from @SawDog505 to arrive. I have been pestering the local liquor stores about when they are getting more Dare Mighty Things, so much, that one store gave me the last couple that they had been saving.

    Straffe Hendrik. A wonderful quadruped from the city of Brugge in Belgium. If I would have a top ten list of all time wonderful beers, this one would definitely be in it.
