    This is insane!! Head retention/lacing lasts forever. Flavors of huge lemon, orange, grapefruit, banana, bubblegum, peach, pineapple, pepper, clove, and light pine hops/yeast; with balanced wheat, white bread dough malts; herbal/floral/grassy hop, and yeasty earthiness. Very mild pine/herbal/grassy bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very creamy, silky, bready, velvety wheat mouthfeel that is perfect. Slight sticky hops and increasing bitter/spicy dryness. Refreshingly drinkable. Very flavorful/rich for the ABV. This is basically just Weihenstephaner hefe with American hops for added character. Perfectly balanced yeast complexity, hops, and pale/wheat malts. I'd put this equal to the base hefeweizen easily. Got a full 6 pack today, and will get more if I can. Need to revisit the regular Weihenstephan super soon. Best in the style I've had for both.

    Amazing NEDIPA. Aromas and flavors of huge passion fruit, papaya, peach, apricot, pineapple, mango, melon, guava, berry, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon/orange zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate wheat, white bready malt sweetness; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light pine, grassy, citrus peel bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body. Bready/grainy wheat creaminess and some hop stickiness in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing bitter dryness, never astringent. Dangerously drinkable for the ABV. Minimal warmth of 9%. Super juicy hops, balanced malts, not overly sweet/heavy feeling for the ABV. Finished off the last of the 4 pack. Hope they make more soon, I haven't seen it in a while. Love all of Ellison's IPAs, I always keep one of them in the fridge now.

    I'm probably going to be up in Fayetteville at the end of May/beginning of June. Maybe we can have a beer or three, if I can get away from work.

    Two bottles left of 2017, I may have to pick up some to compare with this last bottle. Local Kroger has a case sitting on the shelf, I keep saying nah.

    Anyway;

    Finally, the Cards draft a QB in the first round! Time to celebrate, hope he’s the right one, but I personally like the move. Cheers!

    More bourbon forward? This one is more of a coffee chocolate dominance. But I may have to do that, surprised a few places still have it sitting on shelves but opportunity for me.
