Bomber poured into teku glass

Hazy amber liquid, two finer frothy white foam cap, sticky lacings settles to a dense layer

Tropical hop aromas, pineapple, papaya, pine

Taste is tropical, citrus

Medium sudsing, hop nibble

Good beer

 

Roak Brewing (Royal Oak MI) Flavorful Five NEIPA. Amarillo, Galaxy, El Dorado, Citra and Azacca Hops.

Pretty tasty brew. Nice take on the style. Went on a ride, hoped I would not get wet, I did a little. Picked up a marinated pork tostada and taco.

Latest batch.
Moderate pour yields a 1/2 inch white head over a murky body with some lacing. Nose is the best attribute with tropical and citrus fruit like you read about. As for flavor? Such a disappointment as the bitterness on the palate after such a remarkable nose is quite offputting. Feel is another downer as the carbonation is lacking as in most murky juicebombs. Overall, yet another example of a beer that should never, ever darken the doors of IPA land. Get yer own style!
