The beer is flowing. Up next is Revision’s Leafy Greens. As always, I’m enjoying this one! Full of earthy/grassy flavors and aromas. Quite appropriate for the 4/20 release. Cheers fellow advocates!

Ahoy BA's! My contributions to the thread...
    Round 1:
...Doom seems to be a "love it or hate it beer" but @threeviews is a "love it person!"
    Freshness...
Exactly one year old and it still tastes just as hoppy and decadent.

    Round 2:
...this is still drinking great! I will be sad once I dip into my last bottle (which won't be very long).
    Freshness (18 November 2016):
...fellow BA's say that the coffee has long faded but I disagree. Although not as pungent, the coffee is still a player in the game!

    Round 3:
Well, BA's...what did you expect from me when a fresh batch dropped?:
    ...absolutely sublime.

    Freshness:
...with a (sanctioned by the brewery) 18 month shelf life coupled with 2 months in warm & cold cellars before release would put this batch packaged in November, 2017 and released from the brewery in January 2018.

    Cheers all!

I took my wife's advice and got another beer! It's now (probably) successfully installed.

I was breaking out the thistle to put this brown ale in and I literally broke my thistle. At least the beer wasn’t in it yet.

As per instructions on this brew, it is to only be consumed when the weather in FL is below 75 degrees, and here in Miami currently that is (barely) the case. Upon first sip I am instantly transported back to growing up in Boston, where you wake up the morning after a blizzard, run to the window, rub away the condensation, and gaze into complete whiteness. Not a single car on the busiest street, in fact you can't even tell the sidewalk from the road. Absolute peace and quiet, with the only audible distinction you can make being the crunching and creaking of winter boots digging into freshly laid snow as you watch your neighbors walk to the corner store to get more beer. Excellent brew, lives up to the hype and I am glad to finally cross it off my list.

Once you get it down its cake but I know exactly how crap the job is. All my kids threw up once we turned them from back to front so it sucked for a long time. Thank goodness for beer because it got me thru a lot of puke cleaning LOL
    Cheers.

Delicious English porter! Fantastic head retention/lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big milk chocolate, cocoa, coconut, nutty medium roast coffee, caramel, brown sugar, vanilla, toasted brown bread, and light herbal/peppery hops. Light herbal/spicy hop and roasted bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; nice creamy/silky/bready malt mouthfeel; light sticky hops and chalky roast. Lightly increasing hop/roast bitter dryness. Very drinkable, never acrid/astringent, 5%. Very flavorful for the ABV. Awesome balance of base beer and coconut flavoring, with nothing being overwhelming. I might need to revisit the base beer again. These last 2 variants I've had were really damn delicious. Atwater has been really improving in the last 2 years, to me anyways. Don't care what anyone else thinks. They got a new head brewer at the same time the did the re-branding. 3.93

Wow this is amazing. Great head retention/lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of huge juicy/lightly tart/tangy strawberries, tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, lemon zest, orange peel, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate wheat, biscuit, white bread dough, light honey malt sweetness; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Very mild pine, grassy, citrus peel bitterness; and fruit tartness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; very smooth and creamy/bready/grainy wheat/oat mouthfeel; light sticky hops and acidity. Slightly increasing lingering bitter/tart dryness. Amazing soft spot on mouthfeel for the style. Super drinkable for 6.8%. Super juicy/lightly dank hops with awesome balance of strawberry flavorings. Perfect malt balance and not overly sweet/heavy for the style. Can't say I prefer one over the other, but glad I grabbed another full 4 pack. Equally amazing spot on NEIPA. Hope they package some other variations. 4.35

Sampling some plain, dry hopped and cherry wheat ales that I brewed last month. Wife is helping...

Huge difference an ounce of cascade or a few pounds of cherries can make. Wife approves (especially of the cherry variant). Cheers all!

Oh mama. Up next is Contains No Juice by Alvarado Street Brewing Company. Despite the name, I swear there is orange juice in this beer. It’s very fruit forward with a great hop presence. Loving this beer. Thanks for chucking it my way @AllHopsMatter. Cheers fellow advocates!
