    Do you have any issues with black flies, up there ? I'm in the 'Dacks today, and late May is notorious as black fly season. Damn things gettin' all in my face !

    There is newish trend in Ukraine with beer filling stations, which open during the warmer months, where one can fill plastic bottles such as these to take home. Lets call it the local version of growler-fills. Depending on where you go, choices range from local macros to some German brews, and once-in-a-while even some micro brew stuff. I picked up something they described as malt beer (first picture), though it tasted more like a whit; and also a Hefeweizen by Oettinger (second picture). Cheers BA!
