They must have a lot of bottles, if you are in line you should be good, More said that they would be at the back of the line to cut off people who were arriving too late for bottles!

A guy was mowing his lawn at 6:00. So much for noise ordinance enforcement.

 

Well guys, rolled up right at about 7. Got a wristband.

Yep, got in line at 7:10 and got wristband. Not many left though..

To be fair I would never have guessed that 7am would have put me back about 500+ in line. I also think that people in line are terrible at counting lines. “Oh man we gotta be 800 back.” “Yeah dude probably 400 people in front of us” -two guys, right by me

 

So people were lining up around 11pm last night? Gotta say, if I was that guy & I found out that people showed up at 7am to still get a wristband, I'd feel like an ass.

 

People also have a difficult time accounting for just how spread out a line can get, especially with everyone sitting. They gauge it based on distance rather than people.

 

Nice. So maybe casually showing up in the next few hours will still score a bottle.....

They just showed a live shot of the Prairie Path from WGN traffic copter...crazy.
Excuse my ignorance but why are so many people in line this early? I understand that there is a barrel-aged bottle release today, but what's so special about this one? What time do sales start?

 

Come on!! Where are all of the promised fist fights, hissy fits, physical assaults, name calling, paroxysm of rage, heinie touchings, public disturbances, emotional outbursts, people leaving in a huff, and periods of uncontrolled anger?? Oh, and I really needed to see some arrests for public urination (that goes without saying).

Yep... If this could be the case then I may tell the boss that I have a bad case of diarrhea and will be back to work in 3 hours.

 

Wow.. one thing for certain is we vastly underestimated the amount of bottles they have this weekend.

Especially if they’re still handing out wristbands
