    Rainy day here in the Mid-Hudson Valley. This FBS is perfectly appropriate.

    Over the past month or so I've been getting 6packs of this stuff off the $10.99 mix n match rack at the supermarket. None there this morning. I guess they either caught their mistake or used up enough of the back stock. Good while it lasted. Still have a couple 6packs left.

    Elevenses. $6 Dominoes pizza with $4 Half Acre Beer. I'm gonna start measuring prices in units of Hamms. This craft beer market getting ridiculous pricing. Now I need a nap and to watch LOTR. Are the two mutually exclusive?

    Was gonna leave the tap room until a head brewer from one the local micro breweries popped in, and we ended up having a nice discussion about the state of craft beer in Ukraine and (for his interest) California. Always great to meet local pioneers, especially since all of them also love hearing my impressions of the new craft culture here.
