Daily lager review. Excellent stuff. Awesome head retention and soapy lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, and light honey/nutty malts; with a fair amount of herbal, grassy, peppery noble hops. Light-moderate herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body, and moderately crisp/clean finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malt and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter dryness. Very flavorful/refreshing, 4.5%. Perfectly clean lager flavors, no fruitiness. Really impressive pale lager! Very clean and rich Pale/Munich malt flavor showcase, with great earthy hop presence/balance for the style. Almost a German pilsener, but more malty overall. Something I would purchase again. 4.03

Review 6800. 4 barrel blended imperial stout. This was awesome. Solid head retention and light lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, molasses, vanilla, toffee, bourbon, rum, peat smoke, leather, tobacco, nuttiness, toasted oak, and dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of licorice, raisin, plum, fig, red grape, cherry, citrus zest, herbal, floral, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/roast/char bitterness and spirit/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; very creamy/silky/bready malt mouthfeel; light sticky hops, chalky roast, and oak tannins. Lightly increasing lingering bitter/tannin dryness. No cloying/acrid flavors. Dangerously smooth, mildly increasing warming 11.9%, zero barrel booze. Very rich malt complexity, with awesome barrel integration. Most prominence with the Scotch, followed by rum/bourbon; with the brandy in the back. Impressive! 4.1

A new favorite. More of a sludge/prog mix of instrumental metal. Reminds me of The Ocean a lot. Delicious.

Pipeworks Pilsner. Incrediblely smooth, best Pilsner I’ve had. Taking a break from the haze and being a pastry boy. I guess that’s what the internet is calling people who like the sweet stouts.

    Love these labels!

Ok, it was a slightly aggressive pour, but the keg of Andech's Weissbier Hell wasn't behaving all too well either, I was told. A little flat feeling after the head settled, but the flavors are there, quite a lovely quaff for to start the weekend.

Packing for my trip to Atlanta tomorrow but needed a beer to complete the task. Grimm - Air and Light dry hopped sour with tart cherries. Very refreshing and not puckering. See you all from atlanta (hopefully storm alberto isn’t too nasty and doesn’t rain out the Mets Braves game)

Moving on to something I was gifted. It's a large bottle, so should be a good way to continue the long weekend kickoff, right?
