    Someone on the Alchemist in CA thread said that to their palate, Heady Topper tastes the closest to liquid weed. The closest I've tasted is Lagunitas' SuperCritical , and I think that's the most fantastic beer they've made.

    But Heady was overly sweet and bitter at the same time, with not a lot of IPA flavor other than generic pine/resin. Definitely like an East Coast take on a WC IPA (like 90 Minute), with a yeast note that bridges to the modern NEIPA.

    This is my first beer by The Veil. It was sent to me by one of the finest BAs, @vabeerguy. This is delicious beyond human comprehension. Or at least mine. This beer requires pairing with some music from Richmond, VA.
