Happy Saturday, virtual bar brethren. Before getting out in the 90 degree heat to do garden work... beer!

 

Would have been appropriate last weekend, but a delicious way to kick off any Saturday...

Been holding onto this one since last summer I believe when I visited Virginia. Don't see a better time.

I have been to the brewery a number of times. Basically out in farm country. Great scenery and great beer.

 

I'd like to get out there sometime in the future. Used to drink Magic Beaver quite a lot. And they make some great stout variants. This being one!

Austin has so much in the way of beer awesomeness. I can drink local almost all the time and still find new beers to try quite often.

Today I'm having long walk from 4th tap, one of my regular Austin favs. And to be perfectly honest, I often find these beers at a buck or so less than most of the rest, and that does make a difference in my purchasing decisions (I'm not a rich man). That being said I have never had any issues with freshness when buying austin beers regardless of price. This city is great like that.

Will do. I have had my share of DBB Vienna Lager over the last few years. On draft and in bottles. It is probably my favorite DBB beer.

Have a good holiday weekend. Have a few too many brews if possible but remember no drinking and driving.

 

Not the usual Galaxy hop taste I'm familiar with. Worth the try though.
