Time for a refreshing lemon flavored beer. Drinking an Alex's Lemon Wheat beer from Sly Fox. This beer is brewed with lemon and lemon zest and so has a much more complex flavor profile than a Shandy. (Also some of the proceeds from this beer go to support the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundations fight against childhood cancer.)

    *****.
Obviously heat/spiciness is different for everyone. My brother can probably drink lava. I prefer flavor with a little kick. That being said, I think that beer is pretty well balanced overall, yet it is still one of the top 3 hottest for me. I think the batch of Mexican Cake I had is 1... if I don’t include the original release of Oro. You wouldn’t have been a fan of that.

    I know right...
I totally agree with you being a very well made stout. I've had numerous brews with hot peppers yet none have gotten me like this one has. Maybe you can send me another bottle just for good measure and what not :wink:

Awesome IPA as usual. Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, and pine hops; with moderate toasted biscuit, light caramel malt balance; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and body; balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Slight resins and increasing bitter dryness, never astringent. Very drinkable, and never aggressive, 6.6%. Love Simcoe hops. Very juicy and lightly dank hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, not overly sweet. A bit higher in ABV than I remember in previous years, but it's pretty much just as impressive as I remember. Feels about the same as the hazy version this time, having had it more recently. Bit more malt, not as bitter.

This is awesome! Aromas and flavors of big nutty medium roast coffee, milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, vanilla, toffee, coconut, cream, frosting, almonds, cake batter, and toasted brown bread; with light notes of herbal hops and smoke/char. Light herbal/spicy hop and roast/char bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; great creamy/silky mouthfeel; light chalky roast and hop stickiness. A tad thin for 8%, but no complaints really. Super smooth. Lightly increasing bitter/roasted dryness; never acrid or astringent. Minimal warming 8%. Huge fan of this. It has great well rounded stout complexity, with awesome balance of coffee/lactose/spice notes to make it taste exactly like Tiramisu. Still widely available on the shelf. Got another pack a few weeks ago. Makin Memories is the imperial version, and even better than this.

This is the best live album of all time. DT does impromptu instrumental jams better than any other band ever.
