No vanilla SoaS?

 

I'd be curious if they used Apple Brandy. I'm curious now, but apples and spices? Mmmm.

 

Swung by the Blendery today and had some of this year's Come In Grape... and it was absolutely delightful. Last year's batch was pretty good, but they knocked it out of the park with this batch

 

I was there today as well picking up some of the HPB collab and Guava bottles.

Grape was tasty, and the Guava (not the Other Guava) was good as well.

I'm waiting on pins and needles for the geuze. And for Friday to roll 'round.

 

Beachwood bringing home four medals from the World Beer Cup for Pablo, Udder Love, Mocha Machine, and Hoppa Emeritus

 

Yeah that is awesome. I guess before they even got off stage with their medal for Pablo they won a second in the same catagory for Mocha. Good stuff. And this Frambiek Homage collab is GREAT. See yall tonight?

 

Beachwood = Dark but not barrel aged beers. Seems about right.

 

Sounds like they still have lots of cans and bottles at Long Beach

 

I'm out of town, so I'm really hoping the BA System lasts until Sunday

 

Has anyone actually tasted the Brady SoaS?

 

Cans and bottles still at HB as of Sunday afternoon. The brandy SoS is alright? It has a strong barrel character but I dig the regular SoSore than that with the vanilla variant a close second.

 

Prefer SOAS. Day 1 Vanilla SOAS was best though.

 

Hayabusa has returned. Rejoice!

 

Anybody else miss thrillseeker?

 

I would love to see Thrillseeker in 4pks alongside CitraHolic, LBC and Amalgamator.

 

Look out for Fogfather pt 1. Liquid juice haze. Julian and gang doesn’t brew much haze at Beachwood. But when they do it’s usually done right. Fogfather is a 3 part series in haze bombs. Part 1 is a single ipa. Part 2 will be a DIPA. And part 3? I think y’all know what 3 will be. Definitely a crowler fill or 3.

 

I am not a big fan of Thrillseeker in any form. Just not the beer for me. My friends, though, really like it.

Fogfather was pretty delicious for a NEIPA from Beachwood. Nothing to write home about, but defintely a solid beer.
