Bells coming to NJ this summer

I agree, but on the flip side of that, the "rest" of those beer drinkers are not aware of nor are looking / waiting for Bells either, and with the ever expanding supply of national or regional craft brands, things are bound to sit and get old.

 

Yeah that’s my whole thing as well.

I get that the haze-seeking, line-lifing BAs are the 1%. But I also don’t think there’s a craft proletariat who eschew the Kane, Cartons and Magnifys of the world, but at the same time stay super informed/engaged/excited about the likes of Bells moving into the state

 

...or Oberon in my cooler by my pool in the summer.

 

Maybe Laura Bell made this decision?

I'm seeing them pop up on beermenus, hopefully the shops closest to me get their deliveries tomorrow or Thursday. Oberon will be a given, just not sure if I should give the Amber or Kalamazoo a try.

Picked up a six pack of two hearted at shoprite in caldwells

 

I for one am happy. I’m trying to spend a biiiit less on my beer purchases and will happily clunk down the $8.99 and $9.99 for 4 packs of Oberon and Two-hearted (drinking one now) like I did today. Also recently paid $9.99 for a 4 pack of 16oz cans of 90 minute. I love buying my local breweries’ cans but some of the prices are getting up there.

 

Can't disagree with this although I do try to get at least one or 2 NJ brews in the mix regularly.

I wound up getting sixes of Oberon and Amber and a 4pack of Two Hearted. The Amber is a really nice "every day" ale.

 

I did buy a 4 pack of Boat as well so NJ was represented.

 

How old are the dates of the Bells that have hit NJ?

Nice. Always skeptical when new breweries hit the state and we get old stock.

 

Yes, that is annoying. Everything I saw from Bells was only a few weeks- 1 month old. Good way to enter the market here.
