More Brewing Co. (StB) - (2018)

Kind of. That was finishing off kegs they had of one beer. Now all hoppy beers are going directly into 4 packs only and taproom only for now. They are releasing their 2nd/3rd such run between today and tomorrow

 

Awesome will be using my lunch break wisely tomorrow

 

@Nbrock24 pretty much nailed it...but I penned a lengthy response anyway and didn't feel right posting it here, so check out the UA/HC thread if you'd like an update.

 

This version of Frooted is unreal, I had to leave with a crowler. It has a really creamy, soft mouth feel that explodes with an aroma of fresh berries. I don't get much of the other berries, but the strawberry flavor just jumps out of the glass - it reminds me a lot of NG Strawberry Rhubarb. I highly recommend grabbing some while you're there.

 

Just set up a trade for one, may have to get one for myself now lol

 

Visiting Chicago area and stopped by More. Was way underwhelmed. Noon whistle blew them away.

 

I like More, but I'm always happy to see some love for Noon Whistle.

 

Only been once to each so tiny sample size, but I’m with ya.

 

Double Spaceboots was a nice surprise yesterday when I went in. Quite tropical, good mouthfeel, but a bit undercarbed (nothing terrible but more carbonation would have made it a better brew).

 

My thoughts exactly, yet I still find myself going frequently. To this day I’m very underwhelmed with their IPAs. Enjoy most of the frooted’s and of course henna’s.

How does one pronounce this?

Is this a drool sound? Always wondered how to spell that sound that homer makes.

 

Take one opinion for what it's worth, but I went in for lunch today expecting to leave with at least one 4-pack of DDH K.I.S.S. After having a 10 oz pour, I decided that's all I need, and left without taking any home. It was good for sure, but there was nothing that set it apart at all.

I'm a sucker for a good wrap though, and I could eat that buffalo chicken wrap for each meal of the day and not be tired of it!

EDIT: Also, thank you to the kind patron who gave me a bottle of de Garde Nelson Hose for helping him carry some cases to his car. What a champ!

 

I like DDH Kiss but it’s super hoppy and not juicy just to give an idea of how it drinks

 

I was extremely underwhelmed by KISS. The other one (Strong arm?) was better IMO

 

BA Swirl and Frooted Honeyberry on right now. This is my favorite Frooted so far. Just sweet enough.
