I was able to track down some of this one by Industrial Arts today, inspired by @cavedave 's good word:

And that's a damn fine lager! Between the hops and spelt there's a really nice spiciness here incredibly reminiscent of a Gewurtztraminer. That's a good thing .

Moderate pour yields a one inch white head over a hazy golden body with some sticky lacing. Nose of slight tropical/citrus fruit, grass, hay, slight dankness, and a bit of some floral/herbal aromas as well. Taste of citrus, dank soft bitterness in the middle with a citrus pith finish. Very tasty! Real nice HF feel and overall another beautiful beer from Greensboro Bend, VT. Cheers to Mike for the hookup!

Feels like the maple syrup flavor has mellowed just a bit on this, definitely enjoying it more the 2nd time around. Cheers, BA.

 

Same for me. And that's the bottom line.

 

Very nice fruited saison. Deep ruby/purple color. Nice head retention/lacing. Aromas and flavors of lightly tart blueberries, fruit skin, lemon, orange, peach, pear, red apple, melon, peppercorn, red grape, hay, straw, herbal, floral, and grass; with moderate wheat, cracker, lightly toasted biscuit malts; and yeast earthiness. A bit muted aromas. Moderate peppery yeast spiciness and light fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation, medium body, and moderately crisp/clean finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malt, sticky hops/yeast, and light fruit tang/acidity in the mouthfeel. Moderate increasing spicy/carbonated dryness. Refreshingly smooth for 7%. As usual, not as jammy on the fruit as I wanted; but still spot on saison style profile. Very well balanced Brett/Saison yeast complexity, berries, and solid pale/wheat malt backbone. 3.88


Just got even more Speciation today, got some work to do. This was awesome. Decent head retention, light lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big juicy/lightly tart ruby red grapefruit, lemon, lime, orange, citrus peel/zest, peach, pear, pineapple, melon, white grape, hay, straw, grass, and oak; with moderate wheat, cracker, and white bready malt; light oaken vanilla, musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Light fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and yeast/oak spiciness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation, medium body, and moderately crisp finishing. Balanced grainy malt, lactic acid, fruit tang, and light oak tannin in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing acidic/tangy fruit dryness, no pucker. Super drinkable, not overly lactic, 7.2%. I have been loving every single fruit variation of the base foeder sour so far. Awesome Brett/Lacto complexity and balanced fruit; nice oak presence and pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. They never disappoint ever. 4.15
