Kicking the night off with Alien Church by Tired Hands brewing with a Jolly Pumpkin twist to it. Sour style...:thinking_face::blush::sunglasses::stuck_out_tongue:

Never had the base beer so can't compare.
All I know is this ones tasting pretty good.
Not as sour as expected, yet still pretty perky. Balanced out with a nice IPA back bone. Righteously solid! :beers:

    CHEERS!

I was more in the mood for a paler/lighter Belgian style, like a saison or a tripel, but Rare Vos still hit the spot. It's a good beer.

I have had a number of Odell beers over the last 24 hours. I am quite impressed.

I unassumingly cracked a Hazy earlier (Critical Band by Modern Times) which was ok. But I for sure didn’t want another one... an IPA brewed with grape, nah, it’s not a hazy... Then I poured it, and I saw this:

As far as the beer goes, it’s actually pretty shitty... I’ve had one other grape ipa before - Grape Ape by Smog City; it was a West Coast IPA with light grape undertones. This bad boi is overkill and nasty.

I have a really good track record with MT. Every beer I've had from them is top-notch. I had Oderville on draft at their SD brewery.. and the canned version tastes the same.
