Yeah - I was crying... with joy I mean, yeah that's it... in '86.:cry:

(I'd suck as a fan in general if the Nats were my second team behind the Mets. You can't have a second team in the same division. It's not allowed.)

Pffftttt, stop it, nothing to apologize for. As for me, I wasn't offended at all. If anything, I was just confused because you were a bit incoherent. Cheers!

beerguy, post: 6058807, member: 1045420"]If there was a Beer Adcocate award for the biggest jerk on WBAYDN last night, I would win in a landslide. Seems I went off the rails last night more than usual.

The list of folks I need to apologize to would require a whole page. But given that it is Tuesday with few pages, that might not be a bad idea!

Anyway, for those I insulted or made to feel uncomfortable, I sincerely apologize. I will try to do better.

But back to beer. @JayWhitson sent me a fantastic beer box on Saturday. So far, every beer I had was awesome. I made the mistake of letting my wife taste this APA. She thought it was fantastic and wanted some more.

    Thanks dude.

Changing it up today. Went to the local German Deli and picked up a few. Yet before the nice young lady rung me up she told me that there was a new law that if I bought beer, I also had to get something from the deli. Wtf? This isn’t Utah. Anyway... the pretzel was a nice addition:

Can anyone decipher this bottle date?:

*Update - this beer is f—-ing awesome! Cheers, BA’s!

The wife is at a Shania Twain concert with friends. I'm drinking this beauty and watching the last two episodes of The Rain on Netflix.

Excellent gose! Aromas and flavors of big lightly tart limes, lemon, citrus zest, orange, peach, pear, red/green apple, melon, white wine, sea salt, hay, straw, and grass; with moderate agave, wheat, cracker, white bread malt balance; light lacto funk and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness on the finish. Medium carbonation, light-medium body, and moderately crisp/clean finishing. Bready/grainy wheat, some lactic acid, and light salinity in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing acidic dryness, no puckering. Very flavorful/refreshing, 4.9%; never watery at all. Not overly lactic or salty. Love this as expected, spot on style. Just as great as the prickly pear was. Really great lime vibrancy and balanced Lacto complexity; nice malt/agave backbone against acidity. Will be getting again, just like I did with regular Otra Vez last year. Another summer go-to.

Very nice Brett IPA. Flavors of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, apricot, red apple, pineapple, mango, melon, papaya, berry, white grape, citrus zest, light pepper/pine, hay, straw, herbal, floral, and grass; with moderate honey, biscuit, light caramel malts; light musty Brett funk and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness; and Brett tartness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; creamy/bready malts, some sticky hops, and slight acidity in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing tart/bitter dryness. Very drinkable, 7%. Very well balanced between Brett and juicy citrus/tropical hops; nice malt backbone, but not overly sweet.

Dug through the cellar today and found 5 of these plus another beer I will post later on.

Rayon vert bottle says July 9 2012 in smudged yellow ink. Love the crazy heavy bottle and the beer is awesome too. Brett and fruity goodness dry finish.

I miss this beer but have to say that fear of a Brett planet is also a really good beer, might be better dare I say.

    Enjoy
