    Such a damned delicious Pilsner. So easy to drink, so crisp and bready. $1.50 a can is a bargain.

    Perennial Dubbel Block. A Belgian Dubbel brewed exclusively for The Block restaurant in Webster Groves. They age it on California dates. It paired fantastically with bacon jam on country bread:

    I'm in serious need of something stronger than this lager. Nothing like spending a majority of your day wrestling with health care providers and insurance folks just to change your wife's PCM back to her original one from the previous month...





    ...at least my last (of three) calls to Tricare West got the job done...

    ...still eyeing a stronger beer...
