You're gonna do some damage in that spot.

All the oyster pics by @vabeerguy got me craving some. Picked up a half dozen of these at the supermarket earlier. They’re quite mild, and do have a sweetness to them that I would describe as a flavor similar to Maine lobster. They’re also the perfect sized oyster for me.

I found the perfect beer to go with them as well

Doing some light, and relevant reading

    Cheers, BA!

This is great. The hops bring some nice peppery and sweet melon notes.

Nice break from all the "hazy" IPA's I've been trying lately. Clearly a Lagunita's hoppy beer. Not quite "Waldo" caliber, but very, very good. Cheers.

Just when I thought I had my beer inventory under control, I found this in the fridge.

...mellowing out after the first beer, but still finding a stronger ale hits the spot after today's health insurance headaches...

I was slamming a lot of their IPA when I was up there 3 weeks ago. It's got a unique finish that I loved. You at Pier 39?

An European friend is in town, so I picked up something new to try to celebrate.

Are there any Awful Arthur's restaurants by you? If so, take a visit. I have been to a few of them, mostly at the beach but one just opened five minutes away from our house in Richmond. I have never been disappointed although the price of oysters in the Richmond facility is pretty pricey.

I look forward to your visit. I have a bunch of Triple Crossing IPAs/DIPAs for you most of which I think you will like.

I have been down the health care and insurance road. Not fun at all. I have white hair (what is left of it) to prove it.

#4 - ALERT - Cumbre Project Dank IPA has now reached us in pint cans, and it's great news. No more awkward bombers... So good. 7.11.18 canning date on this beauty. REJOICE all committed danksters... huzzah! That is all. Now excuse me while I bliss out to this for a bit.... don't bother me.

UPDATE: 10 minutes in, maybe the best dank yet? Stunningly dank, piney, and resinous. Just a mouthful of bitter flowers. Awesome. As close as I get to real weed.

Golden road melon cart. Watermelon wheat ale with honeydew and cantaloupe melon. Pairing it with some orange honeydew melon. First time trying a golden road beer and it's fairly decent. The melon doesn't taste artificial and the base beer is ok[IMG]upload photo to internet free

I can see why this Pilsner is the standard by which all other Pilsners are measured by!

I’ve never heard of it, so I’m thinking we do not have it here.
