That is weird as hell--who fought for that right?

I'm just saying. People would rather be honest and say they have a dd and they are here for a couple hours and get turned away rudely than to get their wife or loved one up there to get pours. It just looks funny as a casual observation.

Maybe women who know that it's perfect healthy to drink a beer every once in a while while pregnant or nursing?

Edit: and this is how it happens with people who have multiple post in a row. Oy...

All of the women!? ALL OF THEM!? Informed post, thx!

"During the four hours after a breastfeeding mother consumes an alcoholic beverage such as 4 ounces of wine, one mixed drink, or one can of beer – babies who nurse consume about 20 percent less milk. ... Some experts recommend breastfeeding moms avoid drinking alcohol until their baby is 3 months old."

*cough* Bullshit *cough*. A federal law? Nope. A couple of states do have laws saying you must serve a pregnant woman if requested, but there are more states that make it illegal. No law in MA, AFAIK.

Look, I can find things on the Internet too!

"Not drinking alcohol is the safest option for breastfeeding mothers. Generally, moderate alcohol consumption by a breastfeeding mother (up to 1 standard drink per day) is not known to be harmful to the infant, especially if the mother waits at least 2 hours after a single drink before nursing. ... Drinking alcoholic beverages is not an indication to stop breastfeeding; however, consuming more than one drink per day is not recommended."

Selling beer to nursing mothers legally is why there was probably a population boom near the Yuengling brewery back in the 1920s. Taking the beercave tour, apparently doctors could prescribe the Porter for nursing mothers during prohibition due to the iron content in the beer.

Can we just create a new thread for armchair experts?

When you got the shakes so bad you purposefully get pregnant just to get your fix.

So it's fine to feed your infant less milk than would otherwise be possible sober? Cool.

Look I have no idea what I'm talking about, I really was super curious to learn more. Some numbnut brought up selling Tree House beer to pregnant women for no conceivably relevant reason, and some other loon then said there was a law requiring alcohol service to preggos. Then I said that was weird af and wanted to know more, particularly who brought this fight to light in order for a law to be enacted, if even true. Then some other person decided to chime in like I'm taking a stance in order to inform me that women think it's fine to drink while pregnant. Forgive me for my surprise.

Wow this really blew the thread up...like 5 responses since I started typing this! New strategy for future derailment: talk about preg-drinkers!

Well if we had to make the effort to go to a dedicated location to spew random thoughts, it would require us to get off the armchairs. [/I'll see myself out to maternityadvocate.com]

    Damn, my mistake.
So Bright = transparency; others are still vague.

So now there's Bright BBBrightttt and Baby Bright, and the latter 2 sound almost the same when you say them out loud (assuming you say Buh Buh Bright). Next week I heard they're releasing a session Green named Gah Gah Green.

Did they seriously make a baby version just because of the silly turn of events in this thread? They really didn't have to go to those lengths.
