Well, if it's Tuesday it's prolly taco/tequila night at our home. Born Again I could enjoy year round. But alas, it's like Hopslam, The Oracle, Hoptimum....it's not year round, which may be a good thing..... Hump day for y'all tomorrow, 3/4 done for the week day for us on 4x10 schedule....

 

I found that beer aged beautifully. I stocked up on it a while back and drank my last one from 2014 back in April.

Doing a side by side with @mattflippin. Paradise is great (coconut has faded) but the barrel aged version takes it to another level. It was my favorite beer last year.

This version is my personal favorite of the series. I have a strawberry rhubarb version I haven't had before waiting for a certain day of the week to come.

Pipe Dreams U Juicin Bro DIPA 9%.

 

Excellent BSPA. Awesome head retention and thick foamy lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of big lemon, orange, peach, pear, apricot, melon, red apple, white grape/wine, peppercorn, and light banana/clove yeast; with moderate cracker, white bread dough, light honey/candi sugar sweetness; herbal, floral, grassy hops and yeasty earthiness. Medium-plus carbonation and body; creamy/bready/grainy malt/sugars and light sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter and spicy yeast/alcohol dryness. Lightly increasing warmth of 9.1% with mild booze after the finish, dangerously smooth sipper. Very well rounded Belgian yeast complexity with balanced Pils malts/sugars, and solid earthy hop presence. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. Really big fan, spot on style. 4.03


Another one via @The-Adjunct-Hippie. Gusher can. Delicious IPL. Amazing lasting head retention and thick soapy lacing the whole glass. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/rind, light pepper, and pine hops; with moderate cracker, white bread dough malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation, medium body, and moderate crisp finishing. Balanced creamy/bready/grainy malt and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Some resins/rinds, light-moderate increasing dryness, no hop astringency. Very drinkable, not overly aggressive, 6.7%. Pretty refreshing. Clean lager flavors. Great Citra/Hallertau Blanc profile. Very juicy and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; nice pale malt backbone, with no residual sweetness. Really impressive! 3.93

Doc, I think I like Crusher the best of all their beers. It's usually limit 6 4-paks, that plays right into my hands. I'll be there again on 9/6 and score what's available.
